    Worth itI bought these for my girlfriend whose palms sweat a lot when playing tennis. They were particularly useful during the summer with hot and humid weather. We both used a sticky feel grip before, but that would slip her hand very often. This overgrip worked very well for her, and it lasts for about 10-15 sessions of 2h of play. We are not playing incredibly intense, so I think this is a bit on the lower side, but if we're going to use them only during the summer it's very good. They are not significantly more expensive than other overgrips we were using anyway, so I am very happy with these.First time putting it on might require some adjustment to observe their length. At least that was the case for me because my other overgrips were slightly longer, but no issues in mounting these, I just needed to overlap slightly less. Also, they do not have the small glue patch at one end where you begin installing them, nor the diagonal cut there, but that was not an issue for me.5Really like these GripsJust started playing tennis again for the first time in many years. A friend gave me a couple of nice racquets from his collection that I re-gripped with Tourna Grip XL and I couldn't be happier. They don't last that long, but can be replaced in a couple of minutes and are very reasonably priced.5Does not cover handle- too sorryNot used the product yet. However, given one star because it does not cover the whole grip of a tennis racquet handle. It only just covers the area of my hand. I went back to check if I had bought it for a badminton racquet, but there is no option. No matter how good it will be, I would not buy again for that reason.1Tacky and dryThe grip was well packaged and very easy to apply. Based on reviews we ordered the xl. I wouldn't use the standard size on anything but a child's racket.In regards to performance, my son plays a minimum of 2 hours per day every day. Grips simply do not last long. He said this is the best grip he's ever used during the summer. It absolutely wicks away the sweat and the racket doesn't slip in his hand. My only complaint is that it is wearing down much more quickly than a standard grip. He has used it around 8-10 hours and although it's still tacky it is getting a "fuzzy" look and feel to it. (See photo) I have a feeling we'll be changing it frequently until he starts playing indoors in a couple of months.4Gamechanger- literallyI regripped my racket with Gamma grip and found myself having to carry a towel even in winter to wipe the sweat from hands. I found myself with injuries from gripping the handle so tight to keep control of my swing. Tournagrip has changed my tennis game. I am able to grip the racket and no longer even think about losing control. I love it.5The best racquet grip for meThe best grip for humid tennis areas. Personally I don t like the tacky grip feel that some people use, or the resin bags of powder. I find this dry feel tape works best for me all year round. I know when to replace it as the grip starts to spin in my hand, even though it maintains a good look. I can play 3 or 4 matches with one grip before needing to replace, and I live in Texas with some pretty good humidity. If you have extra sweaty hands you might need to replace more often. The length of each grip is good - I use a double hand backhand and like a longer handle on my racquet, and this wraps just find. Only negative I can think of is that the red adhesive tape for securing the end of the tape can be difficult to peel an edge when I have forgotten to get it ready before wrapping my grip!5disappointedI'm not disappointed in the grip itself, it is the red tape used to secure it that is my issue. It comes on a roll, is not cut (you need scissors to cut the length you need) and after being left in my tennis bag, at all sorts of angles (never in a hot car), it started being very, extremely sticky, on both sides. So that meant that when I would put it on my racket, it would feel sticky if I touched the red tape, which I did most times I hit backhands shots. Also, the roll of red tape started "slipping" off, it ended up looking like a overheated vinyl disk, all distorted. I couldn't wait to be done with my grips to buy a smaller quantity that has the red tapes individually wrapped.4Sure, Tennis Racket Handle. But Road Bike Handle Bars?I have a habit of trying to find alternative uses for things. In the case of Tourna Grip, a product I've been using for years on my Volkl tennis racket handles, I've found another calling: my road bike handles. One of the biggest annoyances I have while on rides is excess pressure on my palm and wrists while riding. Back in the day I put up with it, doing 2,000 miles a summer as cross-training for short-track speedskating. Now I'm middle-aged and have very little tolerance for any nonsense that causes me discomfort. That's why I ride an '02 Lemond Zurich, a bike made with 853 Reynolds steel: it's stiff enough to allow you to crank up hills, but soft enough to absorb shock while on the flats.So if you happen to have the same issue, here's what you do: go into the basement and grab some extra water pipe insulating tubing. You know, the charcoal gray styrofoamy stuff that you can get at Home Depot for $1.87. Cut it and shape it onto your handle bars, securing in place with electrical tape. Then, take a strip of Tourna Grip and wrap it around the cushioning.Bingo-Bango: jarring road bike wrist jolting gone. Say hello to the softest handle bars you've ever laid your hands on.5it will pick up dirt like a magnetThis stuff stays dry for quite a while. The only thing that will make it slippery is not taking care of the grip on the racket when laying the racket down. It is tacky, so, it will pick up dirt like a magnet. If you live in the desert like we do, dirt and dust surrounds the court. When you go to pick up your ball, dirt will accumulate on your fingers from a dirty court. Wipe your hands on your shorts before grabbing your grip. It will last way longer.5Not worth it, great feel but too many side-effectsThe grip is great on feel and performs as expected ... for the 4 games it lasts. It is annoying that tapers are not pre-cut and that you need scissors to install, which normally generate a crappy cut on any absorbing film. It starts degrading with just one use. And the worse, do not use them over an expensive base grip. When replacing them, they disintegrate, leaving stuck traces on the base grip that ruin it upon removal. Quite frankly I thing this is technology from the eighties. Much better options out there such as Wilson, Tecnifibre or Dunlop.2
