    The tie was nice and appeared to be very good quality especially for ...I bought this tie for my 10 year old son for a wedding. The tie was nice and appeared to be very good quality especially for the price. However, the entire tie ripped off of the frame/zipper when I loosened it up to take it off of him. Luckily, it was at the very end of the reception and we won't need it again. I would return for credit/exchange but someone in the clean up crew threw it away seeing it was damaged. If in need of another tie, especially for a one time use, I'd buy again. I ve never purchased a tie online I ve pretty much stuck to brink and marter stores. He has quite a collection of both long and bow ties but he requested a blood red tie for this event so I went searching and I found this here.Imagine my amazement when I opened the package and found the tie in a very lovely box (better than I get from Macy s). Also the quality of the tie is excellent, a little silky and wrinkle free.I love the zipper closure and the double tie stays at the back making no need for a tie pin.The only con I could mentioned is I should have purchased the next size up. Really great product.5The best tie for little boysI bought this tie for my 18 month old grandson to wear with his Christmas suit. I knew neither the suit nor the tie were likely to stay on very long, and ease of dressing was important. My own sons, now grown with children of their own, both wore these ties as children, and though they now tie their own, these got them through many years of sporadic formal occasions. The tie was a hit with my daughter and son-in-law, and surprisingly with my grandson as well. It's very well made, a deep ruby red, good quality material, and very easy to use.5Perfect tie for kidsPerfect tie for kids! I had no idea what a "zipper" tie was when I ordered this. They can loosen and tighten the tie by just pulling on it and it travels along a zipper. It looks like a normal tie but you don't need to "tie" it, it stays tied. Just loosed up on then pull on the under part and tighten.5Huge Flaw in productThe title of my review is huge flaw in product...and that is because there is one. Now don't get me wrong, the material itself is great; feels and looks great. BUT the only problem is that there is no option to lock in the tie in place. I don't know how this was overlooked. You can have the most awesome tie but if it won't stay in place it's unwearable and essentially useless. When I wear this tie at work, i'm having to re-tighten this tie every 5 minutes which is SOOOO ANNOYING it drives me crazy. Like the tie will loosen up to a quarter inch and everyone at work is constantly telling me to re-tighten my tie, not knowing it's a zipper tie. I personally like zipper ties because it's just convenient having one and saves me time so I actually have plenty of zipper ties. This is the first time i've actually encountered this problem with zipper ties. Now unless someone knows something I don't know about locking it in place then please educate me. But again, a HUGE FLAW in this product and I'm confused it has so many 5 star ratings with this flaw and when I went back to look at reviews, only 1 out of almost 500 reviews mention this, and now mine will be #2. Spring Notion, any response?1Poor QualityTie looked very nice upon arrival, and I was excited with how well it would match my kids Christmas outfits for their pictures. Then came time to use it. When I went to slide the zipper to put it on, it began to fall apart and then completely fell apart when I went to take it off of him after pictures. Super disappointed.
