Once you have a pouch, you will not wear anything elseI wear a 34 and I bought M. Great boxer briefs. I first learned of pouched underwear when a friend of mine got me a pair of Obliviously Underwear from AUS. They are amazing, but also $20-30 a pair and I do have a few pair. However, to get 4x pair for the same price as one of those, get the pouch, amazing fabric that drys fast. Winning..... If you have never worn pouch underwear, you will NEVER... and I mean NEVER go back to Hanes or anything else. My only complaint about DA underwear is there seems to be so many different fabric combinations between their different underwear it makes it nearly impossible to know what you like. Every time I order new underwear, there are different kinds, sizes, colors, and different fabrics. I wish they would separate them into specific product lines that allowed you to know what you are getting by name.5My husband's new favoriteMy husband found these on sale and wanted to try them out. He's used to wearing Hanes boxer briefs. Each pair came in its own little box, so presentation was especially nice. Now they are my husband's favorite underwear. He says they are very comfortable, and likens the feel to silk boxers. They are very soft. I don't notice him adjusting himself nearly as much, so they must stay in place well. They also don't leave much to the imagination...so I like them too.5First David Archy Product I've Been Disappointed InI concur with other reviews, these are just too loose.I've tried several other David Archy products now, have been generally pleased (although I think the separatec style opening is a useless gimmick) and almost everything in my underwear drawer is from them by now. I really like the micro modal material trunks but wanted something with longer length in the leg to help with summer thigh chafing so I decided to try these in the bamboo material.Unfortunately they're just too loose fitting. I'm 6'1" 200, about 5 lbs more than I should be, but with an athletic build. I've comfortably worn Size Medium (32-34) David Archy before, but there's no indication in the description that these are a significantly different fit than everything else. One description line does mention "jogging", but there's absolutely NO way these would provide enough support for physical activity. It feels like wearing boxers, but with a proper fitting waistband and leg seam.Maybe it's just the nature of the material and bamboo rayon has more give. I don't expect compression shorts, but the Modal versions have all been plenty snug without being tight.You could maybe go a size down, but I'd be afraid the waistband would then cut too much. Sorry to say, theses are a pass.2New product model, much looser fitI usually love this underwear, and I have been slowly buying more of these to replace others and wear them exclusively. This time was drastically different, much larger than the normal Large I wear (evident by the attached comparison image in navy blue color behind previous model). It has a new silver waistband, which also made me wonder if these were different. They fit so big and loose, almost like boxer shorts instead of "hugging" in the pouch area which is what these typically do best. I want to love them and wear them exclusively, but now I will need to go down to a medium, and have no clue what size to buy in the future.I emailed them directly, and here was the response, they apparently changed the sizing and fit without notifying Amazon in the product text."Per checking with our designers, we have changed underwear model for meet most customers' feedback for better fitting."Update: increasing this review to 5 stars, as they were very helpful and made things right directly with me. If you like these with a tighter fit like they used to be, I suggest going down a size.5Fabric prone to dampness, waistband prone to folding.I have had these for six month now so I can write a review based on experience. First, the positive. The fabric feels wonderful. It's very silky. Also, once you get used to it, the pocket for your goods is very nice. Now, the negative. I find that I get damp. Compared to other, less expensive boxer briefs, I end up with damp fabric in short order. Also, the waistband folds over. And this is not because of my build. I am 6 foot 1 inch tall and 180 pounds, with a 32-inch waist. I have never before had this happen but it's persistent with these underwear.Bottom line is that these feel good when I put them on, but between dampness and folding waistband, I would not buy again; I seldom wear the ones I have because of these problems.3Did they change something?******Update: Feb 2019, downgrade from five to three starsSomething has happened between the first batch I bought back in July 2018 and this most recent batch in Feb 2019. The pouch is less roomy, the seat is less roomy, and the rise in both front and back is shorter. Either I got a poor quality set or they have changed the cut of these drawers. It's really a shame if they changed the cut because they are not nearly as comfortable now.******The pouch on these boxer briefs is sublime. I might even say life changing. If you suffer from batwings or need some help with separation of sack and taint then these are definitely what you're looking for.I had been wearing Calvin Klein micro modal boxer briefs for about 10 years now but never again. These David Archy bamboo bb are what CK's SHOULD be. The pouch is just so.... so.... perfect; it really helps to have a place for everything and keep everything in its place. Especially when temps rise and things get, well sticky, that's when these really shine. I used to get crabby when the temps and humidity rose and my boys were all uncomfortable but now I stay cool, calm, and collected.Try 'em, you'll like 'em.3Pocket Pool on a 9 foot tableDedicated MeUndies wearer for years now. (I was one of their first customers) Well, MeUndies are expensive and every time I have to deal with them I come away irritated. So I saw these David Archy's on the 'Zon and thought I'd give them a try.Well.... They're better than the ~$25 a pair MeUndies.First thing to mention is the jewel pouch. It is beyond large and ample. For a 45 year old married guy, it almost comically accentuates your twig and berries. But it's also very comfy, and the pouch seams do a good job of keeping your thighs and nads separate. No sweaty leg-pits.The fabric is thick and comfy. The waistband also has good breadth to it to keep it in place.Fantastic undies. I ordered three more pair the very next day.5Ups and DownsI've worn these for over a month now. Here is the verdict: The material is smooth; it feels nice. The pocket is a nice adaptation; I think I like it. However, as another customer observed, it is shaped to come out front rather than down and to a slight angle. Two things I do not like: 1) the material is already beginning to pill (form small bumps) which is indicative of poor durability--not something you want in underwear. 2) While I like the pocket when I am wearing it; using the urinal at work is a bit awkward. Sure, you can either undo the belt and unzip/button all the way--but that kinda defeats the purpose. Yes, I can order the fly, but then I don't have the support and the nice feeling. 3.5 out of 5 stars. Debating about whether to purchase more.3Watch not only the color but the style when ordering.I bought the black no-fly version a few months ago and fell in love with them. They are extremely comfortable and the pouch keeps everything up front and in place. I decided to order them again and clicked the "buy it again" button and chose get this time. However, I didn't realize that I was ordering the one with the fly. I didn't even think twice about it when they arrived, I just tore off the tag and threw them in the wash. Only later did I realize that they had the fly. Hate them. I wish Amazon would list them as a completely different product as opposed to a color option. Love the no fly, hate the fly, and so 5 starts for the no fly, 2 stars for the fly, 0 stars for Amazon's listing of options. 1 star for my paying attention!5"Mick and the boys" can finally tour comfortably.large fits 36" waist well. Material is soft and does not stink like some of the other 'ultra softs' do after a long day. Not sure about longevity, but seem well constructed. I like boxer briefs, but traditional ones are always to tight up front. The pocket on these shorts finally allows plenty of room for "Mick and the boys" to tour comfortably.5
