    Very Happy!!This bag rocks! I needed a large bag that I could use as a laptop bag, tote, purse, and/or briefcase, and this fits all of those requirements perfectly! So if you are looking for an extremely large bag this may work for you. I have several large tote bags but none as large as this one. I will keep it just to use as a traveling bag but it is not something that you would use daily unless you are using it for a laptop briefcase. 2Your endless search for a stylish and functional bag ends hereAbout three years ago, I bought this really cute navy blue and white striped handbag at Target and after about a year and a half of faithful service, the cloth lining started to fall apart. Every fiber of my being wanted to buy a new handbag and replace it but since I couldn't find anything I liked, I painstakingly sewed the lining back into place and carried on using the purse until its state of disrepair was beyond anything my novice sewing skills were capable of fixing.This should indicate that I'm not the kind of person who just buys any handbag. I need it to have compartments. I need it to have a zipper that shields the purse's precious contents from the elements. I need it to be able to fit my Chromebook in the event that I'm traveling somewhere and need to bring it along. I need it to have functionality for both the typical workday and for weekend adventures. Lastly, I don't necessarily "need" it to match with most of my work clothes, but it's an added bonus when I can carry a handbag that makes me look effortlessly put together.And here it is. I can tell that this is a handbag that will last me a long time, and I won't need to get out the needle and thread to maintain it. It looks sharp, it's sturdy, it fits everything, and the color I purchased even included a matching wallet. It was a big leap for me to buy a handbag without being able to have that tactile in-store "yes this will work for me" experience so if you're the kind of person who waffles back and forth about buying a handbag sight unseen via an online retailer, worry no more. This is the one.However, a word of caution: If you're looking for something relatively small, this isn't it. This is a carry-everything-get-the-job-done-and-be-practical-and-cute-at-the-same-time type of handbag so if you're looking for something a little more portable, like for a night out, I'd recommend picking a style that includes the matching wallet so you can use it as a wristlet. 5This purse is amazing. Unfortunately the original purse strap broke at exactly the 1 year mark. I e-mailed the company asking to purchase a replacement, and to my surprise they sent out a new strap free of charge. It was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. I also got the new purse strap shortly after contacting them. They really went above and beyond! I'll definitely buy another Dasein purse when mine bites the dust. Unfortunately, the new purse strap already broke. :( It lasted 11 days. In all honesty I expected that. My old purse strap is thicker and feels sturdier. The new one they sent me feels thin and cheap. I really hope they didn't replace all the purse straps with this style.... Maybe they sent me the wrong strap. I'm going to try and fix the old purse strap and if not, check around and see if I can order a similar replacement online. 5Full stars for functionality, and for appearance!!!This bag is AMAZING!I've alternated between carrying my purse and a school bag for my books to work everyday, and carrying my purse and my books and laptop in-arm to work, and carrying my purse to work, leaving my books and laptop in my car till later when I need them, then running out and carrying them in. Long story short: I look like I'm moving in and out every day at work. Add a lunch bag, and shoes-in-arm when it rains, and I look absolutely ridiculous. This bag solved my utterly frustrating (1st world) problem so easily!I can fit a farely thick text, two note books, my 3" by 6" by 2" wallet, my checkbook wallet, my mini-portable charger as well as my mac charger purse (4" by 5" by 1"), small make-up bag and phone ALL inside, neatly! If I'm zipping it shut, I carry my 13" laptop in arm, if not, I'll fit the laptop in there laterally and throw a sweater over it (that's with the laptop sleeve on, btw). The room in this bag is unbelievable!!!I give it a 5 for functionality, as well as appearance. It's classy, true to color, looks even better than it does in the picture! (That last part might just be my bias talking, haha. But really-it's beautiful!) I wish it came in more colors, would love to have another in burgundy! 5A touch of class, functionality and a matching wallet at a great priceI'm very picky about my pocketbooks, and troll the handbag aisles at TJMAX quite often looking for that perfect pocketbook. I bought a gorgeous silver Catherine Malandrino pocketbook there several months ago. If only that pocketbook was somewhat larger and had a shoulder strap, it would have been perfect. So, after many failed attempts at finding a roomy tote type pocketbook that was silver with a shoulder strap, I began searching on Amazon...something for around 40-50 dollars. I found this and it came as close as possible to my criteria. I read the other reviews about the kind of cheap fabric lining that's inside the bag, but other than that singular complaint, I have to say that this bag is well worth it's 40-ish price. It also comes with a matching wallet which is quite functional and lovely. My previous wallet was getting a bit ratty anyway. So, I've been using this bag for the last couple of weeks and it has saved my back from having to cart around a heavy purse. I love the shoulder strap. Also, when I compared the silver part on this pocketbook to my Catherine Malandrino pocketbook, it was virtually identical in color and grain. The panel with flowers and butterflies is quite lovely and the hanging Dasein gold medallion adds a splash of class. The zipper is not heavy duty, but the fact that this tote bag has a zipper across the top is a plus in itself. Read and re-read the bag dimensions multiple times and measured the laptop knowing it is above the norm in size. Then pulled the trigger and placed the order.Good reviews [header] - IT WAS CLOSE BUT IT WORKS!Previous reviews were pretty good on this bag so was less concerned about the aesthetics than the fit. The bag itself is really quite lovely. Not as soft as others have described but not overly rigid either. It overall seems to be fairly sturdy. Not a huge fan of the faker lock bauble on the front as it serves no functional use, came with several scratched areas on the bauble vernier and is kind of bangy-clangy against the bag. Anticipate it will be coming off in the near future and replaced with a more interesting, but complimentary, product. Inside is roomy and will handle the mouse and power supply with no issue along with a few additional personal items (wallet, keys, tissues, etc). The internal pockets intended for my cell phone will work, material is a little flimsy but do not anticipate they will receive an excessive amount of wear from me personally. If it was a regular purse with a lot of in and out action maybe not so much.Generally I just needed an upgrade that would fit the laptop and reflect a little more professionally on the occasion when I actually need to move beyond my home office to do client meetings. Kinda like them both so neither will be getting sent back. Purple is a very nice color. It's going to work great for what I ordered it for but it's pretty hefty for my every-day purse-type usage. I just don't carry that much stuff with me to fill it up. Amazon, what gives? 4Bigger than expected...I needed a new purse because the one I have currently (that I have that for about 4 years) is falling apart on me, and I wanted a sturdier one. I ordered this one after much thinking and I paid for fast shipping to get it today! I came home from work and was excited to open it... They gave a different color than I ordered, I placed my order for purple and black, and I received gray and black (which I am not too mad about because I like those color combos too) it looked smaller in the photos, but to my discovery it's actually pretty big... The purse is in good condition, but the dangly piece will NOT turn the right way, which kind of erks me. I do like that it comes with a matching wallet though. I think I will try it for a while and see if I like it, even though it seems really bulky. I may return it because I feel deceieved. At least the purse smells good and it's good quality so far. I will come back with an update.**UPDATE**I really tried to use it, it was sturdy and held everything I needed. I think this purse would be for those who like bulky bags. It just wasn't for me. Held up throughout the time I was using it, but with this purse I wouls consider it to each their own. I use the wallet though 3lots of room/not heavyIt is really great. I bought it so I can bring files home from work neatly and still have space for my purse items. I have already received many compliments on it. 5
