Comfortable bra makes a happier woman !I posted the bra fits somewhat small, but it stretches out to fit and holds everthing in place even though I would prefer it a tad bit larger and let me say this first off.....I HATE ALL BRAS ! ..... Until I found the Boody Ecowear bamboo bra and because I love the feel of material made with bamboo (I have bamboo sheets, shirts, socks......) I decided to give it a try and ordered my first one . When it got here I was shocked....the box was so tiny and when I took it out I thought you got to be joking .I'll never get this on but as I mentioned it stretches out and actually fits but the best part is it's absolutely the most comfortable bra EVER to me because I forget I have it on and have even fell asleep in it ......Plus I've ordered 2 more because my mother stole my first one from me . We both hated bras so much that if we had to wear one it was a running joke that all we could think about is getting home and ripping them off .I've even taken them off in my car before making it home .Finally I just gave up wearing one , which was embarrassing for all because I'm not young anymore and going braless at my age was just plain ugly,tasteless and tacky, but NO MORE because I took a chance and ordered one more bra to try and it's THE ONE AND ONLY ! Like I've said in other reviews......it's the little things in life .......comfortable bra makes for happy woman ! If your on the fence take a chance and order one.....I believe you'll be happier for it like me .5It used to be betterI bought one of these shaper bra a few years ago, and one in summer of 2017. Of the old one: The fabric was thicker and did more shaping with better support. The fabric seemed heavy, but it was still quite wear-able on hot, humid days. Better than cotton/lycra. The straps were a bit short on the old version. And I am always shortening up straps, so that was a problem. The new incarnation has thinner, stretchier fabric, so it has less support and shaping. But the straps are longer. Now I need to shorten the straps, and it's more of a thin bralette than a lightweight sports bra like the old one. I am disappointed with the new Boody EcoWear Shaper Bra.3Comfortable and soft bra!I wasn't sure what size to order, as I do not like the fit of any of my other bras. I am a 34B/36A depending on brand, but my rib cage is big, so I went with the M/L. I can definitely order down next time! The size on the band is "M", which according to the side of the box is for a size 6-8 (I am usually an 8 or 10 in dresses). However, I do love how comfortable it is!! The fabric is so soft! Since it is a bit too large the straps do tend to slip down my arms and it is definitely not supportive enough to workout in, not even something low impact like cycling.Just for reference, I wear a medium in Threads for Thought sports bras.All in all, I really like this bra and will definitely purchase more from this brand in the future.5Perfect for small to medium facadeThere are very mixed reviews on this item, because 1) it runs somewhat small and 2) it's low-cut and no good for large boobage. Walmart has very similar bras (costs twice less and more coverage on top), but alas no brown. This bra is very much alike fabric-wise, but Boody is higher qualuty, rinses easily and doesn't accumulate stink (Walmart's bras do, big time!) .I am a steady medium in chest circumference and medium-smallI as far as breasts go. I ordered L, and love it (can't stand when bras pinch me, my back complains). Perfect for summer and light support. Looks EXACTLY like image.4Really wanted to love but am deeply disappointedI really, truly wanted to love this bra.I bought this back in March when I started transitioning all of my underwear and bras to more natural and ethically sourced fibers. These guys really check out with their sourcing and philosophy. Unfortunately, that s where the excitement stops for me.My first introduction to this company was about a year or so ago when I got a pair of plain boyshort underwear from them to try the quality. They fit was (and still is) amazing. Fabric is flexible, lightweight (but still thick in the right way that hits you back), and breathable. I had recently gotten a bunch of underwear so I just kept the one and decided to keep the company in mind for the future.Fast forward to March and again in May and July. I have bought underwear and bras from Boody. I m deeply disappointed in the quality. The fabric is thin and too stretchy. It s so thin that I m tempred to measure the thickness and compare with the first pair of underwear I got with a measuring device like calipers or something. I reached out to the company to ask if they had changed the fabric because the new product I got seemed thinner. They said it s the same and they didn t offer help beyond that.The first bra I got in March has two holes in it already. I m oretty gentle with my underwear and bras, line dry them and don t use harsh cleaning chemicals on them. I know it wasn t my fault, I take very good care of my clothes.I ordered more underwear and bras from them after that just to make sure that maybe it was a quality control mishap and I got an off product. Nope. All of them are the same and nothing that I ve bought since the original pair of underwear I got a year or so ago had been as high a quality of product.I really wanted to love this company, but will be exploring another organic option, maybe Pact will work out.I wish everyone luck on their organic underwear options. :)1Breathable fabric with no hardware, no tags, no itchy seams or logos - worth the premium priceI've been buying sports bras all my life because I can't stand the annoying, useless garbage laden upon most bras: size adjusting hardware, wires, padding, seams sewn with thread that looks like fishing line, etc. They've been OK... as long as I stay away from anything with straps so thin that they dig trenches in your shoulders and tags that scratch as if they are made of fiberglass. This bra is amazing! The fabric is breathable. The elastic isn't binding. The straps are wide and the back is a reasonable squared edge, not a "racer" back that always shows under your t-shirt collar. When I sleep in them, they don't twist or crawl up. I hate paying retail prices for clothes, but for this level of comfort, I'm willing to pay premium.5My mistakeIt's not what I had expected, but I decided to keep. If you have a bigger chest, 34dd for example, this may not be for you. Keeping it for sleep, no real support as expected. Lower cut and possible nipple exposure.3Highly recommend! Actual *support* with no-wire for larger busts! If you're comparing wicking/active bras - Just buy this one.I am extremely satisfied with this purchase, and hardly ever leave reviews, so I thought I'd leave a few words for my bustier sisters. I bought 2 of these for fieldwork in central America, tried one on and have been wearing it ever since they came a few days ago. So comfy <3Here's what I have noticed so far:1. These offer actual SUPPORT! This is always an issue for me with no-underwire bras. I am 34D/5'5"/135lbs. I ordered the M/L - and my gals look exactly as they do in my typical VS unlined cotton underwire bras (which is to say they look awesome).2. Well, well worth the price. I've bought both cheaper and more expensive unlined/no-wire/sports bras in my life - they have all made my chest look flat and squished up against my torso, along with being terribly uncomfortable. NOT THESE! In this bra, my tatas look like two very happy, perky and separate entities!!! Just like I like 'em :) This level of boob confidence with no wire is worth the $15-20.3. The elastic underneath the boobs and around the back is the absolutely most comfortable of any other bra I've found. Having a spinal problem and ample bosom, it's very hard to come by unlined, no-underwire bras that don't make my back/neck hurt. I wish I found Boody brand earlier!4. The sweat wicking bamboo blend actually works - unlike basically every other 'wicking' bra I've ever tried.5THE BRA FOR THE BRA HATERS!I HATE BRAS ... But I really like this one. SOFT, smooth, breathable! It's a lighter support, (one layer), which works fine for me. I can't stand being encased in wire and plastic and sweaty, scratchy nylon or polyester ... Ugh! (My skin is very sensitive to anything even slightly irritating. I've had nice soft cotton and silk bras that were stitched with thread that rubbed me the wrong way. Why do they do that??) I also hate the little plastic adjusting "buckles" on straps that always seem to poke and rub some tender spot. No plastic on these straps! And the straps are wide enough to be supportive and comfortable. I also like that the bra dips low enough that it doesn't show with a lower neckline.As I said, I hate bras. But this one I can wear all day without feeling like screaming .... and that's a wonderful thing.I hope they start making them in COLORS! I would buy them all! :)5
