Bought for caving; meets expectations.I purchased these to use while caving to protect my elbows and forearms while crawling through tight passage and breakdown. I ve used them multiple times and they have performed as well as I could have hoped and provide the protection I need. I ve used while crawling through mud, rock, and water and I hose them off and hang them up for the next trip.I am a 5 11 man and weigh ~175 lb and I bought them in medium. I wanted a snug fit to help prevent as much unintentional slipping down my arm and they fit pretty snug, but aren t so tight as to cut off circulation.The price on these is unbeatable for the quality. 5Perfect. Exactly what I needed.Exactly what I wanted! My elbow was shattered 11 months ago and now has hardware installed. (Pins, plates, screws and a bolt.). This made it too painful to compete in a tactical sport that I love. This pad was perfect. Perfect fit, perfect size and perfect flexibility. I still had pain (that s to be expected) but at least I was able to participate. Oh, and I won first place! Thank you! 5Good for some bursitis situationsI am a 72 year old large man. I had bursitis develop in my left elbow. Long story shortened - after 2 months and seeing three different doctors my fourth choice was an Arm and Hand specialist. His advice: keep a compression pad on the elbow as much as possible for two months. He gave me one but it was obvious the one he gave me wouldn t last and he suggested other things including elbow protection pads available at a retail outlet. So, being an Amazon Prime shopper, that s where I started looking and here we are. First of all before you use these for medical purposes you should make sure a doctor agrees.I selected these Bodyprox pads because of customer reviews and because they were Prime eligible. They have been a VERY good solution. They fit great and after washing one time they still hold up like new (I didn t put them in a dryer - they dried nicely overnight). They also - besides mild compression - provide nice elbow protection in the form of padding. So that s my story and I m sticking to it. 5ELBOW SAVER!!!I crawl under houses and in attics and these pads have saved my from A LOT of pain. My arms are about 14" at the bicep, so Large fits nice without cutting off circulation. Easy to position on your arm so you can make sure the padding is centered just right.PROS: They fit perfectly under a crawl suit, Large fits a 14" bicep perfectly (not too tight & doesn't slide around), padding covers a large enough area so you are pain free after crawling.CONS: not made of solid gold & doesn't make me rich. In other words, nothing wrong with them. They even have a sealable plastic bag they come in so you can store them after your finished! Awesome. 5Order a size downRecommendation- Order a size down. I am a 24 year old female athletic/medium build with smaller arms and medium was too large. 4Elbow pads anyone?Bought 3 pairs of these for a High School Foot Ball team. They play on Turf which causes burns. These are lightly padded - not bulky but don't let their thin light appearance fool you. These provide great - excellent protection from contact with helmets, tackles and slides on turf. The material and workman ship are excellent. So far they are holding up well to heavy use.(2) Large(1) MedI mountain bike as well - plan to use them on a few local rides but hopefully won't test them out! 4Comfortable fit, good protection, recommend for elbow protection for inline skating.works for me better than what usually is sold as elbow pads. Usually elbow pads are basic knee pads made smaller. These are different. My use for them is for inline skating. Elbow contact with the ground is not common, and not usually that hard. Therefore heavy duty protection is not needed, but comfort is, and having the pads stay in place is a good thing (typical elbow pads to not do that; these seem better at staying in place). Basically, these are comfortable, and provide critical padding right at the elbow point. They are strong enough to provide protection against any normal (even in extreme conditions) accident when skating on rollerblades (I am assuming 40 mph or less). For wrist or knee protection I would want a lot more, but for elbows, this seems just fine. This is the best I have seen (when considering comfort) for use as rollerblading elbow protection. Good freedom of movement, and protection at the tip of the elbow. 5Runs crazy bigThey are not small. The small (which I purchased for my son) fit my 5'11" 300 # husband. So, keep that in mind if ordering for a child.That being said, the quality is quite good. These would have been the perfect arm guard for my son if they would have stayed on. 3I wish I could give it six starsLet's start with the product first. This is a nice quality product. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much for the price. The sleeve is made of nice and thick material. It fits perfectly. I was worried it might be loose or too tight. I ordered a size M and my arm is 11" at the elbow, it's perfect.Second, the customer service is awesome. Here is why. I ordered a second pair right after I got the first. Then I realized there is a scratch card that could have given me 15% off on the second purchase. Too bad I already ordered it. So I thought what the heck, I will write them an email. I gave them both order numbers and everything. They got back to me within 24 hours and refunded the 15% which amounts to $2 something. It isn't much but the fact that they honored it and did so quickly. That is some customer service. These elbow pads came in the mail and they are perfect for my daughtef. She is 3 and has Spina Bifida and is paralyzed from her waist down in various areas. So we don t allow her to crawl outside because her legs bleed and then we have to worry about infections. We bought the small elbow protection pads for her legs and now she has tons of protection! 5
