Fantastic as a travel bag!Fantastic bag! Has a small zippered pocket on too for a phone and charger, a mesh pocket inside for an iPad or laptop, and the large zipper pocket on the bottom which I'll use for shoes. My intent for the bag was to use for travel and this fits the bill to a T.The zippers are good quality and have almost a porcelain finish that keeps them from binding up. The main compartment opens at the top, making it easy to get in and out without having to unpack everything. The mesh pockets on the sides are great for liquids so you can pop them out before going through security.So far I have packed for a four day weekend and had no issues getting everything in. The bungies are perfect for holding a book, no need to unzip and get to in flight entertainment! The straps are comfortable and the spine of the bag has cushion as well as breathable material making it very comfortable even when fully packed! And for less than $30 I can't see how it could get any better. 5Light weight but huge room for all baseball equipmentIt has so much room for shoes, helmet, baseball glove, pants, cup, hat, socks, one sweat shirt, one jacket, batting gloves and two bats. Still left some room for extra. It has a hook and mash pockets inside so you could store smaller items separately (e g snacks, towel).The bag itself is not heavy at all.I was a little worried if the bag would be too big and heavy for my 10 year old son, but I was not at all. I think he would be good for several years with it. 5Spacious and perfect for adultsI LOVE my new softball backpack! I'm an adult woman, there's plenty of strap room to adjust for size and comfortability. The straps are very thick and padded...super comfortable! The zippers are also thick, easy glide and appear to be well made.I am able to fit my glove for easy grab and go on the front (as pictured) and the adjustable stretchy strap to hold it snug is perfect. In the inside compartment I put a hoodie and an extra glove (for that inevitable unprepared teammate) as well as some miscellaneous stuff (tape, hand warmers, bandaids, etc.) you'll notice in the picture that there's still a little room. The bottom compartment (separate) holds a couple extra balls, batting gloves and my cleats (with the balls in there, bigger shoes may not fit, I wear a US women's size 8.5). If you need to house a helmet, the big front compartment will fit it but I don't think you could get anything else in that space with it. There's also a small compartment at the top that's perfect for a pair of sunglasses, a wallet and even your phone (it's a fair size). The only thing I feel is missing from this bag is a side pocket for my water bottle. Other than that, it's perfect for me! 5Look no further, you found your bag. Highly recommend.I am a very picky reviewer. My 8 year old son used this bag for a full season and thus the updated review. Thus far, it has held up incredibly well. I have compared it to other bags that kids have from other more expensive brands. Overall, it is well constructed and has two pockets extra pockets. The top pocket can be used to place phone, keys, wallet, etc. The bottom fits shoes very comfortable. Inside the main pocket I fit helmet, hat, batting glove and 2 gloves (son and dad's), couple baseballs. The pockets on the outside big enough for bat and water bottle, also has a hook to hang which is very sturdy. The zippers are sturdy/strong as well and the stitching is solid (again, full season no rips, tears, etc in either lining inside or outside). The bungy chord on the outside was not used but it is strong and good. Buying another one for my other son who is turning six. I think this bag can be used between 5-12 years of age. 5Perfect for Softball gearMy daughter's helmet size and add'l gear outgrew the bag that she had (Easton lone-shoulder strap type). This one is very roomy. This works great for softball, which I think has more and bigger gear than baseball does - all helmets have face-masks, and infielders wear another type of face-mask, balls are bigger. It holds her M/L helmet (6 1/2 -7 3/8), her 12" glove, Champro youth/small adult face mask, and 5 or 6 softballs... all of that in the big compartment. I do put the facemask inside the helmet, but otherwise its not too difficult to do, no cramming equipment in there like puzzle pieces to get it to fit. The main compartment opening is huge and opens all the way, which makes it easy to get the stuff inside. She has batting gloves but doesn't use them so they have been stuck to the outside velcro the whole time we've had the bag (about 2 months), without coming off, even while bringing the bag back and forth to games. Good ergonomic and padded shoulder straps are comfy. We don't typically use the cleat compartment, I think we wouldn't be able to get everything else in (maybe would work better if we took out all the softballs tho). The outside fabric is slick and doesn't attract or show dirt, just slides right off. Although, the black and white is kinda snazzy, my only one request is that I wish they made this bag in some other colors, maybe even girlie ones (purple?). 5a nice, even weight distribution organized backpack with fence hookPrevious reviews for children...Gone are my glory days of the ultracompetitive ball, and the zippers on my previous ball bag. The side pockets hold my bats in place perfectly (they re a little too small for a big water bottle but there is plenty of room inside the bag for those!)The zipper pocket on top is perfect for my snacks, gum, and keys. The mesh pocket on the inside fits my phone, hair bands, etc. I love that they added the front pocket for dirty cleats (even though I don t use it for that) Both of my gloves and a few extra balls fit great in the main pocket with room to spare. I also really love the Velcro on the front for my batting gloves. But I really love the bands on the front for helmets. Although I use it to carry a teddy bear. LolI would definitely recommend this bag to anyone.Oh, and their customer service is amazingly hilarious. I like that all of his baseball gear, including shoes, can fit in one bag so that I don't have to search for it all before every practice and game. It's not too cumbersome for him to carry around either, which is a huge plus. 5Awesome backpack for baseball!I got this for my 8 year old who is just starting intermediate (little league) baseball. I'm extremely happy with the purchase! The main compartment is super spacious. We put his batting helmet, baseball glove and batting gloves in there. There's a separate zipper compartment for cleats but we use it for his dad's glove so we have it there for warm ups. So there's plenty of storage and utility use. What sold it for me was the versatility of the exterior options on the bag. The drawstring storage and Velcro is nice because it allows easy access and visibility for your frequently used items while still having them secured to your possessions. Can hold 2 bats, one on each side. Easy zipper for putting helmet, cleats, gloves, etc. inside. Also netting at top to slip a glove into. Well made. Looks great. I think that this will be used for several years. Easy for him to carry. It also has a built in hook that allow him to hook it onto the fence by the dug out, keeps it up, safe and out of the way.
